16.08.2016 NCSP Volumes Total 86 mln tons for 7M 2016 Up 6% y-on-y

NCSP Group (LSE: NCSP, MOEX: NMTP) hereby reports that its consolidated cargo turnover for the first seven months of 2016 increased by 4 792 thousand tons or 5.9% y-on-y reaching 86 101 thousand tons.

Liquid cargo volumes grew by 3 618 thousand tons or 5.7% y-on-y combined, and reached 67 259 thousand tons. While crude oil volumes standalone increased by 3 523 thousand tons or 8.0% y-on-y and totaled 47 602 thousand tons, due to growth at Primorsk port.

Bulk cargo volumes increased by 341 thousand tons or 5.4% y-on-y combined and comprised 6 633 thousand tons. Grain volumes reduced 9.4% y-on-y, while exporters delay shipments due to low foreign market prices, and comprised 2 815 thousand tons. Iron ore volumes grew by 707 thousand tons or 66.3% y-on-y, and reached 1 772 thousand tons. Coal volumes grew by 193 thousand tons reaching 980 thousand tons, while growth rate doubled versus H1 2016 and reached 24.5% y-on-y.

General cargo volumes increased by 715 thousand tons or 8.6% y-on-y combined and reached 9 071 thousand tons. Transshipment of ferrous metals and pig iron grew by 898 thousand tons or 12.8% y-on-y and totaled 7 933 thousand tons.

Container traffic totaled 3 138 thousand tons or 286 thousand TEU, up 3.9% and 1.5% y-on-y respectively.
