16.11.2016 NCSP Group Volumes for 10M 2016 Up 5.7% to 122.6 mln tons

NCSP Group (LSE: NCSP, MOEX: NMTP) hereby reports that Group’s consolidated cargo turnover for January-October 2016 increased by 6 555 thousand tons or 5.7%
y-o-y, and reached 122 567 thousand tons.

Transshipment of liquid cargo in the reporting period increased by 5 393 thousand tons or 6.0% y-o-y, and totaled 95 388 thousand tons, of which:

-        Crude oil totaled 68 451 thousand tons – up by 5 569 thousand tons or 8.9% y-o-y.

-        Oil products comprised 26 222 thousand tons.

-        UAN and seed oils totaled 569 and 147 thousand tons respectively.

Volumes of bulk cargo for 10M 2016 totaled 10 132 thousand tons, including:

-        Transshipment of grain for January-October 2016 totaled 4 823 thousand tons, while year-on-year lag reduced to 8.5% for 10M 2016 versus that of 10.1% for 9M 2016.

Grain volumes in October hiked 53.5% versus September when shipments to Egypt were resumed after the zero-ergot requirement was cancelled, and the Russian grain export duty was zeroed from September 23 onwards.

-        Chemical cargo and sugar volumes totaled 769 and 610 thousand tons respectively.

-        Transshipment of iron ore and ore concentrate increased by 709 thousand tons or 40.8% y-o-y, and reached 2 445 thousand tons.

-        Coal volumes are up by 265 thousand tons or 21.7% y-o-y to 1 485 thousand tons, and time annual growth rate accelerated by 5.4 percent points versus that of 9M 2016 as demand improved thanks to forthcoming winter.

In October 2016 NCSP Group has reached the maximum volume of monthly transshipment of coal and iron ore for the last three years – 221 and 302 thousand tons respectively, which is by 78.2% and 33.6% higher that of September 2016.

Transshipment of general cargo in the reporting period totaled 12 650 thousand tons, up by 912 thousand tons or 7.8% y-o-y, of which volumes of ferrous metals and pig iron accounted for 10 881 thousand tons and increased 9.5% y-o-y.

Group's container volumes in January-October 2016 totaled 4 398 thousand tons or 391 thousand TEU, and increased 2.7% y-o-y in tons.
